USFWS Coastal Program

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service’s Coastal Program is a non-regulatory program that provides technical and financial assistance to landowners and coastal communities to restore or protect fish and wildlife habitat on public and private lands. This Program partners with other Federal, State, local, and non-governmental partners and private landowners to conserve and restore coastal habitat for the benefit of Service trust species. The Coastal Program is delivered through a network of locally-based field staff in 23 priority coastal areas around the country.
