The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) National Agroforestry Center (NAC) aims to “accelerate the application of agroforestry.” According to the USDA, “agroforestry is the practice of combining trees and shrubs with crops and/or livestock to create integrated and sustainable land-use systems.” This website highlights a range of practices across a number of issues including climate change, communities, pollinators, wildlife, and water. The Center also provides research regarding agroforestry site design, buffers, and landscape management as well as publications, tools, training resources, and informational videos.
