National Fish, Wildlife, and Plants Climate Adaptation Strategy

The 2012 National Fish, Wildlife, and Plants Climate Adaptation Strategy was produced by an intergovernmental working group of federal, state, and tribal agency representatives to inspire and enable natural resource managers to take actions to adapt to climate change.  This publication details greenhouse gas induced changes to the climate, existing and projected impacts to wildlife and ecosystems, and provides a host of adaptation goals, strategies, and actions across multiple management sectors.  The Strategy emphasizes that adaptation actions are vital to sustaining ecosystems and natural resources as well as the human uses and values they provide.
