Home » ACT Framework – Climate Change Adaptation for Conservation Targets
The Climate Change Adaptation for Conservation Targets (ACT) Framework was developed by Wildlife Conservation Society, Center for Large Landscape Conservation, and National Center for Ecological Analysis and Synthesis. The ACT Framework is designed for collaborative application in a given landscape or seascape by a multidisciplinary group of natural resource managers, conservation practitioners, scientists, and local stakeholders. The framework draws on collective knowledge to translate climate change projections into a portfolio of adaptation actions. These actions can then be evaluated in the social, political, regulatory, and economic contexts that motivate and constrain management goals and policies.
